RM of White Valley’s story
The Rural Municipality of White Valley No. 49 was incorporated as a rural municipality on January 1, 1913. It lies in the southwest part of Saskatchewan, near Eastend, where the RM's office is located.
The town of Eastend sits within the municipality's boundaries. Scattered around it are a number of unincorporated communities and localities: Bench, Chambery, East Fairwell, Klintonel, Knollys, Neighbour, Olga and Ravenscrag.
Today the RM is run by an elected council and an appointed administrator, who meet on the second Thursday of each month.
